Paperhouse
Feb. 13th, 2003 09:14 amPaperhouse is the film adaptation of a book called Marianne Dreams, which my best friend raves about, and which I've never read. We watched the film on Tuesday night, as far as the silhouette on the horizon, and then both decided it was too scary, so we stopped it. After taking a few minutes to recover, we watched the rest, muted and on fast forward, to exorcise the scariness. It's a 15 certificate.

Date: 2003-02-13 05:33 am (UTC)I did think it was very good (although I found some of the actors annoying), but I'm quite easily scared by films. I might give it another go when I'm feeling braver ;-)
I'm not as easily shocked as I am scared - I don't recall ever being shocked by a film, but this is just as likely to be a function of my poor memory as anything ;-)
