Knitting Metroid Prime?

I knit. smiorgan plays Metroid Prime. The new Knitty offers us a cardigan inspired by the protagonist of said game. From the introductory blurb:

One of the latest additions to my video game fanatic husband's collection was a Metroid game, starring a futuristic orange-armored warrior heroine named Samus Aran. I immediately thought of this in a knitting context and wondered what sort of Aran sweater Samus might wear when she's not saving the world from evil.

metroid prime is a gamecube game. 1st person exploration shooter (ie focuses more in exploring and finding things than the combat side of things). Its a very good and addictive game and there are in fact two of them.

If you want to see what samus aran looks like google will tell you. Though from the thumbnails of google images there may be some inappropriate pictures there too...

Mmmm buttermilk pancakes and syrup. I might go to tesco and find some ingredients for that for my lunch :)
