My brain has this strange function which it uses to select a different song each morning to be playing in my head as soon as I wake up, and often throughout the day. Sometimes it's something I like, sometimes not. Sometimes something I heard the previous day, sometimes I haven't heard it for ages. It's never yet been something I've never heard, though ;-)

This morning (and still persisting) it was Britney Spears 'Not a girl, not yet a woman'.

Although I don't wake up with songs I've never heard, I did dream last night about a word I'm not aware of having encountered previously, and which I don't know the meaning of. It may not even be a word, and my imperfect recollection of it isn't really helping me find out.

The word is something like 'pavotchka'. I'm fairly certain it started with a P, and it definitely contained the 'tchka' sound. I think it was an adjective. Any thoughts?

Things like this make me happy. There's this thing called the Mandelbit Generator, and this is the one I liked best of what it gave me on five or so refreshes:

Little cool things like this are why I love the internet.
