Tomorrow

My class, which is usually on Wednesdays, has been moved to tomorrow.

My department's monthly Chinese-lunch-bonding-session is tomorrow.

My shiny new laptop is due to arrive tomorrow.

This is all very well, but what I'm going to be doing tomorrow is sewing in London. Which is a good thing, because it involves seeing someone I like very much, as well as turning a large amount of extremely beautiful fabric into a Regency frock. But still. I can't help but feel a bit cheated that I can't do *all* of these fun things.

In other news:
  • Friday's annoyingness was mostly the result of a misunderstanding
  • I have blisters, but I'm glad I went
  • One of the three people arrested is my colleague's daughter's friend
  • I now have a witch's hat
  • Feeder are not as interesting as I had hoped

Glad to hear that Friday's annoyingness wasn't.

"not as interesting as I had hoped" is a very polite and genteel way of saying "dull as ditchwater", I'm impressed.

Maybe you'd have enjoyed it more if they'd played the song you know before you left...

No, "Buck Rogers" wasn't all that long after you left. "Just a Day" was last. ("Doo doo-doo dooo, doo doo-doo dooo" if that rings any bells).

I did have fun. Although I do think they should have played all of their most energetic songs and fitted some slower (duller) stuff around them. As it was they semed to feel they had to strike some kind of "balance".
