I've just had my first piece of non-O2 SMS spam. How exciting.

What is this SMS spam of which you speak?
The closest i've ever got are the "welcome to orange [insert country], we have all these exciting services for you".

That's pretty annoying! I've had a fair amount of random advertising from O2, but not each time I enter a county!
And I'm puzzled as to how whoever it was got my number, cos I'm fairly careful what I do with it. <sigh>

I've managed to receive sms spam before...
Particularly from a company named Moby Monkey, who were rather infamous for spamming.
