I called them when the weather hit Oxford, to warn them, and ask if they wanted to postpone. No, they say, they'll risk it. Half an hour later, the weather hits London, andlathany calls back. "I see what you mean now," she says ;-)

Date: 2004-01-28 05:51 pm (UTC)Up until about half an hour ago I was bemoaning the lack of snow round here. Now we have had blizzards, gales, lightning and thunder, and it's still snowing quite hard.
