Anyone out there who might be having a pirate-themed party may be interested in checking out this post from [livejournal.com profile] several_bees about a pirate board game.

This has been a public service announcement.

That person has a very odd style of putting secret messages in those inverse colour sections of the page. Kinda funny but annoying when I have to view the source cos they're too big to all be displayed when I mouseover... :)

And do you know people who are planning a pirate themed party or are you just trying to drop hints that somebody should? :)

See also Corsari from Rio Grande Games - I don't think it's the same game, it seems to be cards rather than board. Picked up a copy on Saturday ;)

So hang on, does that mean I can hide secret messages in my comments ?

Even were it not for the style sheeting it wouldn't have worked. I get plain text e-mails telling me about comments that have been left so the HTML was staring me in the face... :)

But now I do have a challenge to try to work out how you can do this invisibly... :)

D'oh! You already did! That'll teach me to mouseover the wrong bit... :)

I wonder how long they can be? Is this the new LJ-cut? :)

Mozilla implements this particular functionality poorly. It should work correctly in Internet Explorer.
