I watched this when it first appeared, two houses ago I find it easier to make chronologies by house than by year. It used to work better when I stayed in each house for a year: college, Arcadia, Shadow Gallery, Hagbourne... but disintegrates a bit when you get to The Flat and The House (The House does officially have a name: The High Castle, but we never use it. I seem to be living with someone who doesn't approve of house names). It's still useful, though. I remember who I was with at a particular event, and the room it was in, and can work out which house, and therefore, when, it was.
Ultraviolet was originally watched in the corridor-TV-room at Hagbourne, and overlapped with the Department V game, which ran in the nicer Hagbourne living room. The game and the programme echoed each other fairly frequently.
Last night, we watched the first two episodes of the programme. Among the usual Monday night 'Twin Peaks posse' (we've finished Twin Peaks, but it was the original point of the gathering) are two of the players, and the GM, of the Department V game; last night we acquired another player. It felt like a reunion, even though we see each other all the time.
