Believe it or not, this entry is absolutely nothing to do with my academic faffing, or with mysterious playing cards and puzzles ;-)

To the point! On the one hand, we have:

  • a sensible, loving mother called Joyce who's more glamourous than TV mums are usually allowed to be
  • an absentee father with a dumb name (Hank) and no real role in the story
  • their older daughter who works with the dead
  • her annoying brat of a little sister who's obviously going to be gorgeous as soon as she's allowed to be, and has difficulty adjusting to her sister's lifestyle

On the other hand, we have:

  • a sensible, loving mother called Joyce who's more glamourous than TV mums are usually allowed to be
  • an absentee father with a dumb name (Clancy) and no real role in the story
  • their older daughter who works with the dead
  • her annoying brat of a little sister who's obviously going to be gorgeous as soon as she's allowed to be, and has difficulty adjusting to her sister's lifestyle

Separated at birth, or what? Yeah, OK, calling Joy sensible is a bit of a push, and George doesn't exactly have a "lifestyle" as far as Reggie is concerned, but still.

Unfortunately, I can't tell if this is crazy talk that doesn't stand up to any kind of scrutiny, or so bloody obvious that everyone else noticed ages ago. Next issue: Rube=Giles! Mason=Xander! Daisy/Roxy=Willow! Umm, maybe not that last one.

Daisy slash Roxy equals Willow?

Well, if you want to slash Daisy and Roxy, we won't stop you. The result might not be Willow, but it's probably a worthwhile experiment.

I had no idea what you were talking about, so yay google - and I find Mandy Patinkin! Yay! What an excellent singer :-)

Sounds like a sky/cable/satellite thingy to me, and we have none, alas. Though I'm not entirely convinced it'll make tv better, just extend the pool of rubbish so one can find proportionally more good bits :/
I'm being a bit cynical on account of celebrity love doodah and BB6, I think!

I've managed to ignore BB6 so far

You're missing nowt, chick, it's bobbins so far. Not one of the housemates is likeable this year, which is quite an achievement.

I watched the first series but somehow managed to miss the second for the most part (I think I saw the first episode and then I suspect clashes meant I didn't catch the rest, I never remembered to check).

And I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought that when I looked at Reggie. On the other hand when I look at Dawn I consider her to be allowed to be gorgeous already. Luckily you'll be pleased to know the Reggie definitely needs a few more years. :)
