What I want enough time to do this weekend

• Reading for next week's Good Course (one book chapter and about six pages of handouts)
• Decide which essay I'm going to do for Bad Course, then make a start on the reading and planning
• Finish making smiorgan's website
• Finish The Long Firm for book group (when I say "finish", it implies I'm a fair way in. In fact, I've barely started it because time went quicker than I expected, and I keep accidentally doing other stuff instead of reading it)
• Knit a scarf for blondeccgirl
• Design and knit a hat for The Flautist (the Luton girl beginning with A, if anyone cares) (NB, must ring her and find out what sort of hat she wants)
• Finally finish knitting socks for smiorgan
• Plan a cardigan for me as a reward for all this altruistic knitting :-)
• Watch enough Shameless that we're up to date in time for the next scheduled episode, which I think is on Tuesday

So. Anyone got any spare time they want to donate? I could use a week or so if you've got some lying around...

You could have some of mine - all of our Saturday plans cancelled within the last 12 hours! I'd probably only waste it anyway ;-)

I'm currently trying to decide whether going to S&B would be a more or less efficient use of time than staying at home - if you're going, that'll swing the balance in favour of "more"...

I'm afraid not :-( If I were having to come into town anyway then I might, but I really need the sleep. 20 miles 7 days in a week rather than just 6 is getting to feel quite hard, if I don't have to. I do want to come again though, soon hopefully...

bring the knitting to mine, and then when I want to recite my notes back, you can glance at the page whilst knitting and I can use you to check I've got it right. So we both get to do what we want to, and you get the free gift of Knowledge. Wow. I'm so nice.

Well, don't forget the other alternative: that it drops so far towards the bottom that it's hopeless, in which case you're also welcome to borrow.

And I reckon I can read, knit and watch TV all at the same time. I might not be doing any of them very well, but it's possible, isn't it? ;-)
