Pain and consolation
Oct. 17th, 2006 07:20 pmHave had wisdom tooth removed, and am feeling sorry for myself. I'm only supposed to be eating soft foods, but have sliced a posh Godiva truffle (brought back by
smiorgan from Belgium last week) into thin slivers, and am dissolving them on my tongue. I'm sure that can do no harm, and it's making me marginally more cheerful.
Also have insane piles of reading to do and essays to write, but am ignoring them this evening.

Date: 2006-10-17 07:37 pm (UTC)I don't know if I would have the willpower, even with pain to help, to eat a Godiva truffle so slowly.

Now there's a fine plan! (without the slicing into slivers in my case though) ;-)

Date: 2006-10-17 08:43 pm (UTC)On the other hand a tub of ice cream probably counts as soft food. So does mashed potato - mmm potato :-)
