I don't regret things. My life is great as it is, and if things I could regret were different, my life would be too.
( I do regret one thing, though (more Tori, so don't read if you're bored of me talking about her) )

I have finished my tax return. I need to wait for them to send me a user ID to use the internet submission service (because the paper form isn't entirely neat and tidy now, and because I'm enough of a mathmo to want my arithmetic checked, cos I'm still not completely sure it's right), but, after agonies over forgetting to include personal allowances and producing silly-looking numbers, it's all over.
Why don't they have a short version for 'I'm not claiming anything at all, I just want you to tell me the percentage tax payable on each band of income'? I've filled in pages and pages of the thing with zeroes in every box, and if they hadn't overcomplicated it, I could have done the calculation in five minutes. <sigh>
One big and important chore down, one to go.
