Tick... Tick... Tick... Tick...
Sep. 18th, 2003 04:00 pmI'm having one of those afternoons where the hand of the clock gets stuck at three minutes to the hour, and tries to move but never quite makes it.
Tick... tick... tick... tick...
Still nothing new on my friends page.
Tick... tick... tick... tick...
Redo the last half hour of easily-recreatable but fiddly work after the application crashes.
Tick... tick... tick... tick...
Get sidetracked into redoing the who-likes-their-drinks-how list to take account of a new person.
Tick... tick... tick... tick...
Everyone is walking around the office yawning and looking slightly dazed.
Tick... tick... tick... tick...
And if it wasn't for the babyplague, I could go home now.
lathany,
bateleur, I'm holding you responsible. Not only for the fact that the babyplague leaves its sufferers unable to cycle long distances for several days afterwards, but also for the fact that it was sunny yesterday, so I have no coat today (and would therefore freeze if I went home on the bus), and the fact that neither of the colleagues I get lifts from are able to oblige today. This may seem unfair, but at least it means I don't have to pick some random, entirely unconnected person to blame.
Although that could be fun. Volunteers to take responsibility for my woes?
