triskellian: (cartoon me ibook)
Does anyone have/know of a program that can import in vcard format and export in CSV or tab-delimited values? It seems to me like a pretty standard sort of thing to want, but none of the software I have, either on my work PC or my home Mac, seems to be capable of it.
triskellian: (wedding)
[livejournal.com profile] smiorgan and I have just booked our honeymoon :-)

We thought, a couple of days ago, that it was all decided, and that all that remained was to book... until, on the phone to the booking line, I discovered a crucial flaw in my price calculations: reading 'per 2 nights' when what it actually said was 'per night'.

Suddenly, Venice seemed beyond our grasp... but a brainwave took us back to an earlier form of The Plan (and one I'd preferred anyway, but dismissed as being too complicated), which, fortunately, has turned out to be much more sensibly priced. It's booked! We're going to Venice! And I can't remember the last time I used so many exclamation marks!

And, oh god, am I looking forward to it. Looking forward to having a holiday, a long one, in a different country, just the two of us (we had three holidays last year, but they were all with friends (lovely friends, of course, but a group holiday is a different sort of thing)). Looking forward to not having to think about wedding arrangements. And, of course, looking forward to being married :-)
