Perfect coincidences
Oct. 16th, 2007 11:39 amDriving into London on Saturday, I found myself behind a van decorated with pictures of Lockets (throat sweets). The van was rather faded, so the three packets depicted were all pale pastelly colours: one pink, one gold and one green.
As I drew alongside the van while overtaking it, I realised that in front of me was a pink car, to my right (overtaking me) was a gold car, and behind me a green one. All of them the same kind of faded pastel metallic as the pictures of the Lockets. To anyone not in my car the image would have been spoiled by my dark red car in the middle of it. For me it was perfect :-)
( The rest of the weekend was pretty good, too... )
