[1] In an office that gets uncomfortably hot and stuffy given the slightest excuse.
[2] In an office on the ground floor of a student accommodation block, and a desk right below the room of a big Dr Dre fan, who owns a stereo with an apparently broken volume control.

And the opportunity to bring in my own stereo and play "Killing in the Name" on loop all day. Or, more realistically, a pair of headphones. I don't work well with noise going on unless it's my noise.
