Registrars

smiorgan and I have an appointment with a registrar so we can produce evidence that we're us and we live in our house, and hopefully we'll then be allowed to get married.

We also have two (is it two? I think it is) registrars booked to come and marry us one day next September. It hadn't even occured to me that we'd need to choose a time until the kind woman on the other end of the phone asked, so I said the first thing that came into my head. It sounds like a sensible time of day to get married, but no rational thought went into it at all. I expect the fact that I picked the time at random wil come back to haunt me in some currently unforeseen way.

(And I need an icon for wedding-related posts. Any volunteers to take a digital photo of my engagement ring?)

I'll have a go, but if you can find someone with a digital SLR with a proper closeup lens, you'll get much better results than I could.

I've got a variety of macro modes on my digital camera, if other offers fall through attempt to arrange something with me :-)
