Yahoo strangeness

I just received a subscription request from Yahoo for a person I don't know who wants to join a group I moderate which is inactive and not listed in the directories. All rather strange.

Aaaagh! A Paedophile! They're all over the net!

Alternatively, it could be a bored member of special branch joining every yahoo group they can find, just on the off chance. It's about their level ;-)
