Public Service Announcement

While smiorgan, angry_marmot and I were visiting lathany last week, she offered us tea cakes(tea cakes are peculiar chocolate-covered things made up of a circular biscuity base and a hemi-spherical mass of chemicals and sugar marshmallow). On the way home the next day, smiorgan insisted on buying some more. And the day after that. And the day after that. After my second or third, I got bored of them. smiorgan admits to having eaten at least a dozen of the things since introduced to them by lathany.

So the point of the public service announcement is to beware of this innocent-looking woman if she offers you sweet things. The first one is always free, after all.

I think it adds some blame to her, without diminishing the amount due to you ;-) After all, I'm not complaining about the existence of tea cakes (in your house, or anywhere), I'm complaining about the fact that my smiorgan is now addicted to them ;-)

It's probably a good job you can't buy cuthbertcross's cheesy poofs, otherwise most of west London would be addicted. They're the reason the tea cakes were left over after our visit....

Different visit - she brought the tea cakes when she popped over earlier that week.

al_fruitbat animated the icon and made the alien part of it, after he decided the witch part looked like a grey ;-) It seemed appropriate ;-)

Do not resist the tea cakes...
I'm having no difficulty resisting them. They're scary. I'm worried they're going to turn smiorgan into a tea cake ;-)
