Useful life lesson number 3,006
Dec. 15th, 2003 09:35 amWhen out of the habit of drinking alcohol, it is unwise to drink large amounts of very bad red wine and medium amounts of rather nice port. Y'see, months of hardly drinking tends to cause a reduction in alcohol tolerance, leading to hangovers and feelings of general misery.
Now that I have valiantly sacrificed myself to bring you this useful information, I shall expect there to be no hangovers among my LJFriends this Christmas. And I shall expect any of you who see me drinking to remind me that I no longer have any alcohol tolerance. Please?

It's ironic that when we were all skint students we drank a fairly large amount of poor quality alcohol (remember 20/20?*grin*)
Now we're playing at being grownups and are less skint, we drink a small amount of nicer alcohol.
therefore our livers have just got more picky, rather than intolerant.
I shall remind you at intervals how much you don't like alcohol, in the hope you'll then donate it to me.... *hic*!
