I am going to expand. I'm just resisting writing an entry more lengthy than that whilst at work.

It *is* fun, though, whetting people's appetites ;-)

And I'm reasonably safe on the 'other people stealing my story' front, since Onebyone isn't actually writing an LJ yet. (Don't start now!)



Although I should try not to build up expectation too much, cos it's not really a particularly exciting story ;-)

I'm suffering from my habit of using pseudo-HTML in normal writing. The gap in that comment was a <pause>. Which LJ thought was HTML.

I use the same symbols. Technically they're not HTML, they're just BNF non-terminals. The idea being that you're not saying "pause", the reader has to imagine a pause for themselves.

The fix for this is to type: <pause> instead of <pause>.

Only it helps to have all the semi colons in place ;-)
