Distractions

On the other side of the part of the office I'm in, someone is playing a CD at that really annoying volume which means I can hear it playing, but not what it is. On my side of the neighbouring part of the office, someone is playing the radio at approximately the same volume. It's driving me up the wall. Not least cos I don't have speakers on my pooter, so can't join in the war.

Ultraviolet

Ultraviolet was originally watched in the corridor-TV-room at Hagbourne, and overlapped with the Department V game, which ran in the nicer Hagbourne living room. The game and the programme echoed each other fairly frequently.

Last night, we watched the first two episodes of the programme. Among the usual Monday night 'Twin Peaks posse' (we've finished Twin Peaks, but it was the original point of the gathering) are two of the players, and the GM, of the Department V game; last night we acquired another player. It felt like a reunion, even though we see each other all the time.
